What Are Implant Dentures?

The Implant Denture Procedure

The implant denture procedure can vary from person to person. However, it generally requires four stages of treatment:

• Your implant dentist in Hamden evaluates your candidacy for the treatment and begins to plan your procedure.
• Implant placement surgery. We carefully insert the implants into your jawbone.
• Osseointegration and abutment. As you heal from your surgery, the implants bond with the surrounding bone over a period of several months. Later, attachments get placed on your implants that will secure your denture in place.
• We design and place your new teeth.
